Jim Valek, MD

Dr. Jim Valek is a board-certified Family Practitioner and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. A St. Laurence High School grad, he trained at Northwestern University Medical School and escaped to Colorado for his residency. Currently an Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at the University of Illinois Medical School, he continues to train new residents and students. Dr. Valek also serves as the Medical Director of the Advocate Hospice program.
